Joe...I never served but a close cousin was 2nd Battalion 4th Regiment Marine 1967-68...he never spoke about his time except things that never showed the depth of his experience. He knew I guess there was no way we could understand. I had friends that were in the Army and lost limbs. I had drawn #314 in the first draft in '69...so I never had to make the decision of what I would do...but I knew by then the situation and the meaninglessness of this war. I imagine your searing experience in your soul gives you a depth of experience that serves you but at a great price. I can see your Love in you. What helped me understand my cousin and friends was a book called '' Achilles in Vietnam'' ...I wish you god's peace you did your duty to those young boys who were with you and that's all a good man could do. Forgive yourself if you feel guilty...there were no cowards on the line..it was survival.

God bless this man and the Marines who served with him. I don't blame him for being upset at having to leave his KIA'd comrades in the battlefield for 2 whole weeks. That's disgusting and inexcusable. No doubt that inexcusable blunder can be chalked up to command level officers.

am tired of being thanked. Officers held drafteees in contempt. the army miss treated soldiers. finally in the early eightees the VA announed help. i can relate to this guy but somehow the Jew horse shit came upon me, the contempt continues. almost 80 and still angry. Vietnam was a war to feed a bad economy. Give jobs. So many died under friendly fire.

My Brother Is A Vietnam Vet Who Went Thru A Lot But Chose Not To Share His Experience Publicly - But If He Talks To Fellow Veterans Privately, That Can Be Even More Helpful. It Is SO Important For Veterans To Share What You Can, Not Only To Document The History Of The War & The Country Where You Served - But To Share Your Invaluable Experience, Impressions & Opinions As They Have Changed Over The Years, & The Wisdom That You Have Gained Through Your Military Service In Such A Controversal War. Please Leave Your Legacy In Your Own Words For Future Generations Of Americans!🇺🇸

I was a REMF. One of those 5 that supported each grunt. I was always asked "did you kill anyone?". I could only say that "I did my part of what my country asked me to do". There are many of us who never saw a single day in the bush. No one cares that I was promoted to E4 with less than 6 months of my active duty. I served my year working in a room with no windows and one door. Only a very few were allowed in that room, maybe 10 or less. I worked 12 hrs. on and 12 hrs. off for 6 months straight with no days off. The things I saw and read couldn't be talked about on the 12 hours of sleep we were given. In fact I was told that my unit was not in Viet Nam. Funny I remember the dry season days trying to sleep with helicopters flying almost at roof top level. I remember after 12 hours in my little room, eating and getting in to my hootch. I remember trying to sleep and the mosquitos feasting on me despite the bath I took in mosquito repellent. My job? Passing our nations secrets to CONUS and all over Viet Nam. I saw first hand the truth and the lies my country did during that 365 days. I couldn't write home but to say it's hot as hell or it won't stop raining. There are many like me that will never get recognized for the job we did. I did mine to the best of my ability. This is my message to the ones like me. I know you, you did an important part of the war. Don't be ashamed that you didn't catch a bullet or engage in hand to hand combat. You did what your country asked and that should count for something. Icame close to getting hit by an ARVN artillery unit that fired on my unit by mistake. The VC put a couple of rockets on the AF base Bien Hoa. I was in my little room, surrounded with millions of dollars worth equipment, just doing "bread and butter. bread and butter" and never missed a lick. Lost a good friend that I played highschool baketball with. His name is Amber Andrews "Pete" Hamilton. Another friend was Donald T. Elledge, a Green Beret, an advisor killed by a VC sniper. I guess one could say I have "survivor's guilt". Now I am 74 years old. I have all kinds of skin problems. My unit was at the southeast end of Bien Hoa AFB. Many agent orange flights took off and landed there. The nozzles on all the planes leaked all the time. I had an AF buddy tell me that. So I got a very sopecial dose of it. I remember the smell almost everyday. Since I do not have a combat MOS the VA says sorry son, we don't see anything. Well friends, there were no grass or trees in my company area. Our berm line looked like a moonscape. The government today says I am half crazy. How in the hell can one be half crazy? I was threatened with prison numerous times if I talked about "anything I had seen or done" up until I ETS'd and the future. So to my fellow REMF's, your service is to be honored as all the rest. No medals, no attaboys. .

Apartheid Suffered at it’s Worst was the JEWS In 1930’s Onwards Until Well after the End of World War 2!!! Even Apartheid in South Africa Wasn’t Even Comparable!!! Remember This Included Death in Gas Chambers in Many European Concentration Camps and in Fact Was DEHUMANISATION of JEWS Until Death!!! Therefore, the Slogan Never Again!!! Unlike ANC Government the JEWS Have Progressed to PROSPERITY in Almost Every Area of Life!!! Examples are Agriculture in the Worst Desert in the World!!! Bulk water supply through Mekorot from the Sea of Galilee. Desalination plants, Primary Source of Water is the Saltwater of the Mediterranean Sea that Produces Fresh Water for the Population!!! The Poultry Broiler Sector holds 52% of the Production, the Laying (eggs) sector 16%, the Turkey sector 14%, and the reproduction sector 18%. In Israel, the production rate of the poultry Branches Stands on (US$895 million) per year. Israeli Company Farms Fish in the heart of the desert!!! Aquatech Fisheries, a company that has managed to raise Thousands of Tons of Fish in the Negev without Harming the Environment. Modern Day Drip Irrigation!!! Israel provides Universal Healthcare Coverage to Israeli Citizens and Permanent Residents via Four Independent Health Management Organizations (HMOs) and a Network of Mandated Benefit Packages, Including Hospital, Primary, Specialty, Mental Health, and Maternity Care, as well as Prescription Drugs and other Services. What has Israel contributed to the world? The development of Microsoft Windows, Intel computer chips, instant messaging, the Cellular Telephone, and many Medical Devices all have Significant Research Roots in Israel!!! Israel’s Status as an Advanced Economy was Sealed in 2010 when it joined the Paris-Based Club of Sophisticated Economies, the OECD. Perhaps the Best Measure of its Economic Strides is the Speedy Rise in the Country’s Per Capita Income: National Output Divided by Population. On this Measure Israel’s Per Capita Income Stood at US $54,847 at the End of Last Year. At this Level Per capita Prosperity is Higher than in Britain at $47,317 and Greater than Bigger Countries in Europe such as Spain and Portugal!!! Israel’s historic growth record is remarkable given the polyglot nature of its society. It reflects a triumph of immigration, with Holocaust survivors, their children and grandchildren, expelled populations from Arab lands, and waves of Russian and eastern European Immigrants Demonstrating the Entrepreneurial Spirit, Enterprise and Endeavor to Drive them up the Economic Ladder.
